Sharing Kindness

On Wednesday January 17th, 2018, M.S. 74’s Friends of Rachel club had a meeting to discuss how we can continue sharing kindness in our school. On the 9th of February, we will be enhancing P.S. I Love You day to stand up against bullying, help end depression, and ultimately prevent suicide. We want everyone to feel special, loved, and that you are never alone. To share the awareness of this day, we want every TEAM 74 staff member and student to wear purple. Sharing positive messages is a way of showing your peers you support them and let them know you are there for them. Another topic the group discussed was how to spread the word of Friends of Rachel (F.O.R.) and the upcoming dates to contribute your effort to make a difference. During the sixth, seventh and eight grade lunch periods, we will spread awareness of the amazing and uplifting spirit days/weeks throughout the year so everyone can continue the chain of kindness. These spirit days well help make TEAM 74 a closer and happier family! GO TEAM 74!
