Cards for Jacob

November 15, during this meeting F.O.R made Christmas cards for a little boy named Jacob. Jacob Thompson was a 9 year old boy diagnosed with stage 4 high- risk neuroblastoma, a brain cancer, in 2014. In October of 2017, his parents were told he only had has a month or so to live. This meant he would most likely miss Christmas, so his family decided to celebrate Christmas early. As a result his parents asked people to send him early Halloween and Christmas cards to make his last holidays special for him. Therefore, when F.O.R found out about it, we had to do it because that’s what Friends of Rachel is about, spreading kindness and happiness. But, sadly 4 days after we finished and sent out our cards Jacob passed away Sunday November 19, 2017. Friends of Rachel would like to send his family our regards and only hope he is having fun in Heaven.
